        In 2020, I started making one-off shirts not to sell, but just for personal wear. One shirt that I made didn't fit me properly, so I posted it to Reddit for sale. I sold and shipped that shirt from my home in Florida to a random internet stranger in Philadelphia.

    Fast forward to 2023, and a friend and I went to Philly to see a concert. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw at the other side of the bar, the shirt that I made years ago. I couldn't believe that I ran into this random stranger, in a random city, wearing the only shirt I ever sold, 3.5 years after selling it.

    My brain practically rewired, and I sprinted over to him like I was possessed, "Where did you get that shirt!"

    "Uhhh, some random guy off Reddit."

    "Yes, that's me! I'm the random guy off Reddit!"

    He was then equally shocked but stoked to see me, and proceeded to explain how much joy the shirt brought him, how he wore it all the time, and how many compliments he’d received on it. If I ever experienced a moment of fate in my life, it was surely that. This was the pivotal moment that inspired me to take my art from just a hobby to a real company.

    Over the next few years, I created dozens of designs, worked on perfecting my craft, and found the perfect shirt blanks. I hope my designs continue to resonate with many others and just as it did with my first sale, hopefully bring a bit of joy and excitement. And you never know, maybe Starving Harvest will lead to a new, similar connection with us.
